Adsense and HSBC Hong Kong

To register your HSBC bank account for Electronic Transfer fund (ETF) with Adsense:

Adsense requires 3 things: bank code, branch and account number.

- BANK CODE
HSBC Hong Kong bank code is 004:

- BRANCH CODE and ACCOUNT NUMBER
From your online banking, you probably have a bank account number number similar to xxx-cccccc-bbb
The first 3 figures (xxx) are actually your branch code, and ccccccbbb is the bank account number you'll give to adsense (in my case bbb = 838, that's HSBC's own sorting code)

Adsense will send a very small amount to verify the bank account. From the day I registered my account with Adsense it took 1 week for the transfer to show up in my online banking statement.
